This weekend is a chance to slow down, connect with like minded women, share good food, play with colour and texture, and make things with our hands — just for fun. We’ll cook, create, laugh, and enjoy the kind of easy company that leaves you feeling full in all the best ways.
Maybe you haven’t picked up a paintbrush or a marker in years, or ever. Maybe you’re just craving good company and a bit of colour. You don’t need a reason — just a little curiosity and the desire to try something new.
Whether you’ve made things your whole life or haven’t touched a paintbrush since grade school, this is for you. Everything we're going to do is about playing and exploring. I’ll guide you through simple, structured activities to help you get started. Creating in a group like this has a kind of quiet magic to it — something opens up when we make things alongside each other.

The Anchorage House
The Anchorage House is located right outside Halifax, on the south shore. There's a hot tub & sauna, both will be available to use. We have usage of the entire house. There's a living room, sitting room, great big dining table to use for creating, a professional kitchen and seating for all to eat together.
Have I mentioned the ocean view & short walk to Hubbard's beach? There's great fodder to find, maybe a new rock or drift wood to add to your creating. Or, maybe the sound of the ocean waves is inspiration enough?
There's options for single rooms and shared.
Puddle Beach Suite has a queen bed & single bed, and a private bathroom. It's located on the main floor.
Whynachts Suite has a queen & double bed with a private bathroom. It's on the 2nd floor.
Cleveland Suite has a queen & single bed with a private bathroom. It's on the 2nd floor.
Anchor Suite has 4 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a private bathroom. The 2nd & 3rd bedroom each have a double bed and the 4th bedroom has a single bed. The 2nd, 3rd & 4th bedroom share a bathroom.

What to bring
Most importantly your curiosity and sense of play. We'll be indoors and outdoors.
Bring good walking shoes, your bathing suit, and an old large shirt that you don't mind getting dirty.
What's included
Everything!!
Private or shared bedroom, meals, tea/coffee, cold drinks, snacks and most importantly, all art supplies.
What to expect
Thursday we'll get settled, get to know our space and each other over dinner.
Friday and Saturday will be filled with creating, free time, exploring the area, eating and creating together.
Sunday will be enjoying breakfast, a slow morning and bringing out time together to a close.
There will be hot tub and sauna time, lots of time for connecting, conversations and getting to know each other, while having fun and learning.
Stamping, doodling, colouring in, water colour fun and more!!

$870 Cdn for a private room (HST included)
$740 Cdn for a shared room (HST included)
This price includes everything. Your room, art supplies, all meals, snacks and beverages, no alcohol though.
The only thing you'll need to cover is travel to get there!
Official receipts can/will be provided for tax purposes.
If you have any food restrictions, allergies or special needs, please reach out to me so I can accommodate you so you won't have to worry.
Everyone will be receiving a journal along with some basic supplies to get you started on your journey to creating and playing.
We'll be carving stamps and using ink pads, playing with water colours, markers and and and....
I don't want to give everything away. You'll be able to take your journal and supplies home with you.
